Volleyball Recap: Ellsworth Panthers vs. Florence Bobcats
Ellsworth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Florence Bobcats.
Florence found their leader in sophomore Kelsi Chrisman, who had seven kills and six digs. Chrisman is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had six or more in each of the last eight games she's played. Another player making a difference was Quinn Cassidy, who had six digs and two aces.
Ellsworth's loss dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Florence, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 22-12.
Coming up, Ellsworth will be taking part in a tournament against Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Florence, they will take on Phelps at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
