Lathrop piles up the points against Los Banos

Recap: Lathrop Spartans vs. Los Banos Tigers
The Lathrop Spartans had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They breezed by Los Banos at home to the tune of 71-31. That 40 points margin sets a new team best for Lathrop this season.
Lathrop had a senior duo take command as Raymond Carson scored 22 points along with seven rebounds and three blocks and Robert Ellis scored 15 points along with eight rebounds. That's the first time this season that Ellis scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Bobby Cotton, who scored ten points.
Lathrop's victory bumped their record up to 5-14. As for Los Banos, their loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 9-10.
Lathrop's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Ceres at 7:15 p.m. on January 22nd. As for Los Banos, they will head out on the road to challenge Beyer at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Beyer has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
