Northview is 8-1 against Danville since May of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Knights will be playing in front of their home fans against the Warriors at 10:00 a.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Northview and eight for Danville dating back to last season.

Northview blew Terre Haute South Vigo out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Terre Haute South Vigo got their revenge. The Knights fell just short of the Braves by a score of 3-1.

Meanwhile, Danville came up short against New Palestine on Friday and fell 6-2.

Mason Shipley spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered four earned (and two unearned) runs on eight hits.

Northview's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Danville, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.

Northview skirted past Danville 13-11 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Do the Knights have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
