Flag Football Game Preview: Temecula Prep Patriots vs. Alta Loma Braves

The Temecula Prep Patriots will face off against the Alta Loma Braves at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Alta Loma took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Temecula Prep, who comes in off a win.

Last Tuesday, Temecula Prep earned an 18-7 win over San Jacinto Valley Academy. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Patriots.

The match pitted two dominant wideouts against one another in Amina Antoine and Kaahliyah Lacy. Antoine had a solid game and rushed for 64 yards and one TD on only six carries. Meanwhile, Lacy was balling out in the loss, rushing for 115 yards and one score on only eight carries.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Temecula Prep's defense and their three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Nola Fairburn, Zoe Strand, and Isabelle Alvarado, who each picked up one sack apiece.

Meanwhile, Alta Loma lost to San Dimas at home by a 20-6 margin on Wednesday. The Braves haven't had much luck with the Saints recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Temecula Prep's victory bumped their record up to 14-7. As for Alta Loma, their loss dropped their record down to 7-10.
