Baseball Recap: Northeast Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Northeast's offense. They came up short against the Slaughter Community Charter Knights on Monday, falling 14-0. The Vikings haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Northeast's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8-1. As for Slaughter Community Charter, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-8.

Coming up, Northeast will take on Broadmoor at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Slaughter Community Charter, they will be playing in front of their home fans against False River at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
