It was a good run, but Franklin-Simpson unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 57-46 to the Russell County Lakers. If the Wildcats were looking for revenge after losing 53-38 to the Lakers when the teams met back in March of 2018, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Franklin-Simpson's defeat dropped their record down to 11-14. As for Russell County, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 17-11.

Franklin-Simpson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Russell County, they will square off against Bowling Green at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. Russell County knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 19 games -- so hopefully Bowling Green likes a good challenge.
