Leonardtown faced Great Mills in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Raiders' defense stepped up to hand the Hornets a 6-0 shutout. Leonardtown might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 contests by six goals or more this season.

The victory keeps Leonardtown at an undefeated 13-0-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 38 goals over those five matches. As for Great Mills, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-2.
