Grant had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt McClatchy on Thursday. The Pacers blew past the Lions 3-0. The Pacers haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

One reason for the win was Grant's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 28-26, 25-22, 25-16.

Sosaia Noa paced Grant's offense, picking up 13 kills. Noa got some help from Sky Xiong and his 19 assists. Lolo Umana controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Grant pushed their record up to 9-5 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for McClatchy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season.

Grant didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Kennedy on the 1st. As for McClatchy, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Millennium on the 29th.
