Soccer Recap: First Coast Comes Up Short

Despite a strong season so far, First Coast has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They were one goals away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Yulee Hornets.

Santos Christian and Jean-Charles Wins-Snaarley scored both of First Coast's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 29 goals.

First Coast's loss dropped their record down to 8-4-2. As for Yulee, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-4-1.

First Coast will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Andrew Jackson at 7:30 p.m. on January 8, 2025. Yulee has already played their next game, a 0-0 draw against Episcopal School of Jacksonville on the 20th.
