Basketball Recap: North Hardin Takes a Loss

North Hardin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the Iroquois Raiders 51-22. The match marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Iroquois' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ty'Aiona Clay-Toole, who posted 19 points along with six rebounds and six steals. That makes it nine consecutive games in which Clay-Toole has scored at least a third of Iroquois' points. Rachel Ishimue was another key player, going 5 of 10 en route to 10 points in addition to six boards and six steals.

North Hardin's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Iroquois, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

North Hardin has already played their next game, a 74-5 win against Fort Knox on the 21st. As for Iroquois, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 51-22 victory against North Hardin Christian on the 21st.
