It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy can now relate to. They fell just short of the Brookville Blue Devils by a score of 3-2 on Saturday. The Eagles' defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-20, 22-25, 28-26, 22-25, 15-12.

Lily Thornberry paced Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy's offense, picking up 23 kills. Thornberry got some help from Camille Stark and her 26 assists. Thornberry was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Brookville can attribute much of their success to Paloma Carey, who had 15 digs and five assists. That's the most digs Carey has posted over her last six matches.
