Volleyball Recap: West Stokes Comes Up Short

West Stokes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Greensboro Panthers. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

While West Stokes ultimately came up short, they really made Greensboro work, particularly in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-8, 25-17.

West Stokes' defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Greensboro, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That somehow still isn't as good as their 19-5 record this season.

West Stokes wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against Mount Airy on the 30th. As for Greensboro, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Forsyth Home Educators on the 30th.
