Baseball Game Preview: North Rangers vs. South Rebels

The North Rangers will venture away from home to take on the South Rebels at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for North and three for South.

On Tuesday, North came up short against Perry and fell 5-2. That's two games in a row now that the Rangers have lost by exactly three runs.

North saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ethan Grinstead, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Meanwhile, South fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Beachwood on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Bison by a score of 5-4.

North's record is now 8-12. As for South, their record now sits at 6-14.

North came out on top in a nail-biter against South in their previous matchup back in April, sneaking past 9-8. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rangers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
