Volleyball Recap: Robinson Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Robinson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Steinbrenner Warriors, falling 3-0. The Knights were not able to make up for their defeat to the Warriors from their previous meeting back in October of 2023.

Robinson took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-11, 25-14.

Riley Goad paced Robinson's offense, picking up five kills. Goad were helped by Emerson Flynn and Nora LaPierre, who contributed five assists each.

Steinbrenner got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Emily Civitillo out in front who had 16 assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Lexi Tschopp, who had nine digs and four assists.

Robinson's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Steinbrenner, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.

Looking ahead, Robinson will head out to take on Newsome at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Steinbrenner, they will be taking part in a tournament against Montverde Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
