Recap: Whites Creek Cobras vs. Hunters Lane Warriors
The Whites Creek Cobras had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past Hunters Lane, posting a 49-16 win at home. This was payback for Whites Creek, who suffered a 59-6 loss the last time these two teams met.
Among those leading the charge was Rickiya Rawlings, who scored 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabrielle Brooks, who scored 8 points.
Despite the loss, Hunters Lane had strong showings from Alaya Owens, who scored 5 points, and Carleshia Parrish, who scored 5 points. Parrish scored a full 31.3% of Hunters Lane's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Whites Creek's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Hunters Lane, they bumped their record down to 0-5 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.
