Baseball Recap: Seminole Picks Up 15th Straight Win at Home

Seminole proved they can win big last Saturday (they won by ten) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Trinity Christian Lions, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Indians have posted since May 17, 2024.

Seminole's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Stephen Davis, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. Michael Ray also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Seminole's victory was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1. As for Trinity Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5.

Seminole wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 5-0 win against Brownfield on the 27th. As for Trinity Christian, they will face off against Estacado at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
