Soccer Recap: Adams Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three games, Adams finally came back down to earth on Friday. They fell just short of the North Mesquite Stallions by a score of 2-1. The Cougars have struggled against the Stallions recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Adams' loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for North Mesquite, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Adams will square off against Samuell at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Adams will be up against Samuell's rather soft defense (which has allowed three goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for North Mesquite, they are taking a road trip to face off against West Mesquite at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
