Baseball Recap: Coventry Takes a Loss

Coventry lost against Streetsboro on April 3rd, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Comets came up short against the Rockets, falling 13-1. The Comets just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Coventry's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Streetsboro, their victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Coventry will take on Chippewa at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Comets are facing the Chipps at the right time seeing as the Chipps are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Streetsboro, they will face off against Field at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
