While Palmetto put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Carolina Academy. The Mustangs were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over the Trojans. Considering the Mustangs have won eight matches by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Ella Kate Fowler and Halle Tompkins were major factors no matter where they played. Throwing, Fowler tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Tompkins struck out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in May of 2024. At bat, Fowler went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI, while Tompkins got on base in both of her plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs. Those runs were Tompkins' first of the season.

In other batting news, Rachel Fields was incredible, firing off two home runs and six RBI while going 2-for-2. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high. Carrigan Holbert was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

Palmetto lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. They are 4-1 when they post two or more home runs.
