It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but St. Patrick had no problem doing just that on Saturday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Southeast Lauderdale Tigers a 12-0 shutout. Considering the Fighting Irish have won 12 games by more than two goals this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

The win (which was St. Patrick's fifth in a row) raised their record to 14-6-1. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those five matchups. As for Southeast Lauderdale, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-12.
