Football Game Preview: Everett Seagulls vs. Stanwood Spartans + How To Watch

The Everett Seagulls will square off against the Stanwood Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Everett will be strutting in after a victory while Stanwood will be coming in after a defeat.

Everett will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up seven points two weeks ago, then bounced right back against Cascade on Friday. The Seagulls blew past the Bruins, posting a 57-2 win. The Seagulls' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Stanwood unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 22-13 hit to the loss column at the hands of Mount Vernon. Having soared to a lofty 42 points in the game before, the Spartans couldn't push the score so high this time.

Stanwood's loss dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Everett, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Everett was dealt a bruising 56-14 defeat at the hands of Stanwood in their previous matchup back in November of 2019. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Seagulls were down 35-7.
