Volleyball Recap: L.E.A.D. Academy Takes Down FAMU DRS in a Playoff Battle + How To Watch

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only L.E.A.D. Academy walked away with it. They came out on top against the FAMU DRS Baby Rattlers by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Lions as it put an end to their four-match losing streak.

Their offense was headlined by Alayna Lombardo and Adriana Stephens, who picked up eight kills apiece. They were helped by Olivia Harold and Kate Mackey, who contributed eight assists each. Lombardo was also solid from the service line: she led the team with nine aces.

L.E.A.D. Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-14. As for FAMU DRS, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-15.

L.E.A.D. Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Community Christian on the 16th. FAMU DRS does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
