Basketball Recap: East Comes Up Short

East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They had to suffer through a 74-34 loss at the hands of the West Union Dragons. The Tartans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Dragons apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

East's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for West Union, their win ended a 17-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-8.

East will square off against Green at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Green's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matches. As for West Union, they are taking a road trip to face off against Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. West Union is facing Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington at the right time seeing as Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
