Soccer Recap: Reavis Comes Up Short

If Reavis was feeling good fresh off their 4-1 takedown of Oak Lawn on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rams fell just short of the Dunlap Eagles by a score of 1-0 on Friday. Reavis were not able to make up for their loss to Dunlap from their previous meeting back in May of 2025.

Reavis' defeat dropped their record down to 8-6-1. As for Dunlap, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3-6.

Reavis and Dunlap could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings. The Rams will square off against Pleasant Valley at 1:15 p.m. on Saturday with a big rank disadvantage (142 vs. 20). Meanwhile, Dunlap (ranked 101st) will meet Morton (ranked 33rd) at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
