Baseball Game Preview: Orange Park Raiders vs. Ridgeview Panthers

Orange Park is 1-9 against Ridgeview since March of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Raiders will challenge the Panthers at 6:30 p.m.

On Wednesday, Orange Park came up short against Beachside and fell 7-3.

Orange Park saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brian Allen, who went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Panthers on Wednesday. Ridgeview narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Palatka 4-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Ridgeview.

The team relied heavily on Tyson Brown, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of James Norton, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Ridgeview's record now sits at 2-0. As for Orange Park, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Orange Park suffered a grim 9-1 defeat to Ridgeview in their previous meeting back in February of 2025. Can the Raiders avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
