LaBelle and Island Coast are an even 5-5 against one another since November of 2019, but not for long. The Cowboys/Cowgirls will face off against the Gators at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. LaBelle is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 66.8 points per game this season.

LaBelle is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took down South Fort Myers 88-74 on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Cowboys/Cowgirls in their matchups with the Wolfpack: they've now won five in a row.

LaBelle's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kaleb Mclymont led the charge by going 8-for-19 to rack up 26 points. Mclymont has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Jerrahd Williams, who posted 23 points and six steals.

Meanwhile, Island Coast took a blow against Ida Baker on Thursday, falling 73-27. The Gators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Island Coast's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for LaBelle, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

LaBelle couldn't quite finish off Island Coast in their previous meeting back in February and fell 48-46. Thankfully for the Cowboys/Cowgirls, Izaiah Bacchus (who earned 13 points along with eight boards and five assists) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
