Baseball Game Preview: Bradenton Christian Panthers vs. Booker Tornadoes

The Bradenton Christian Panthers will square off against the Booker Tornadoes at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither Bradenton Christian nor Booker posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

On Monday, Bradenton Christian came up short against Out-of-Door Academy and fell 5-1. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bradenton Christian saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Connor Henderson, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. That double marked the first that Henderson hit this season.

Meanwhile, Booker was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against DeSoto County, falling 11-1.

Booker's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Bradenton Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-5.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Bradenton Christian has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.9 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Booker struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3.7 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.

Bradenton Christian took their win against Booker when the teams last played back in February by a conclusive 16-4. Will Bradenton Christian repeat their success, or does Booker has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
