Thursday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Minersville hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .385. However, it's not like Schuylkill Haven struggles in that department as they've averaged .347. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Minersville couldn't quite finish off Schuylkill Haven when the teams last played on April 1st and fell 7-5. Can the Battlin' Miners avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
