Kennedy skates past Bergen Tech with ease

The Kennedy Knights scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 68-20 win over Bergen Tech at home. The win was familiar territory for Kennedy who now have four in a row.

Kennedy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Yalanis Jarrett, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 assists. That's the first time this season that Jarrett posted eight or more assists. The team also got some help courtesy of My'Shayla Clancy, who scored 23 points along with eight rebounds and eight steals.

Kennedy pushed their record up to 5-4 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.3 points per game. As for Bergen Tech, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-6.

Kennedy will head out on the road to face off against Passaic County Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Passaic County Tech and Kennedy are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. As for Bergen Tech, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Clifton at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in New Jersey (Clifton is ranked 372nd, while Bergen Tech is ranked 377th).
