Basketball Recap: Cass City's Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

Cass City got their first taste of in-conference action this week and they started things off strong. They secured a 54-48 W over the Unionville-Sebewaing Patriots on Friday. That's more bragging rights for the Red Hawks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

With the win, Cass City broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-6. As for Unionville-Sebewaing, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-5.

Cass City will venture away from home to square off against Vassar at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Cass City is facing Vassar at the right time seeing as Vassar is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Unionville-Sebewaing, they will host Caro at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
