Topsail won the last time they faced West Brunswick and things went their way on Thursday too. The Pirates didn't even let the Trojans on the board, marking the Pirates' second-straight 3-0 shutout. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Pirates.

Topsail never let West Brunswick on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-22, 25-11.

Sarah Cutler paced Topsail's offense, picking up 13 kills. Cutler got some help from Hannah Gates and her 25 assists. Anna Pullinger controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Topsail's record now sits at 13-5. As for West Brunswick, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-14.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Topsail will square off against Wilmington Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Brunswick, they will challenge Ashley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
