Softball Recap: Sandy Creek's Undefeated Season over After Nine Games

Sandy Creek was the 3-0 winner over Lowville when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Comets fell just short of the Red Raiders by a score of 4-2 on Tuesday. The matchup marked the Comets' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Sandy Creek fell to 8-1. As for Lowville, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.

Sandy Creek will challenge Watertown at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lowville, they will take on General Brown at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
