Basketball Recap: Clinton Picks Up Second Consecutive Win

Clinton won the last time they faced Columbia, and Tushawan Richardson did his part to make sure it happened again. The Clinton Red Devils strolled past the Columbia Capitals with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 67-51 thanks in part to Richardson, who went 9 for 17 on his way to 22 points along with seven boards and five assists. The match was his fourth in a row with at least ten points.

The win made it two in a row for Clinton and bumps their season record up to 7-4. As for Columbia, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season.

Clinton has already played their next contest, a 69-57 loss against Laurens on the 15th. As for Columbia, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 46-42 defeat against Fairfield Central on the 17th.
