Volleyball Recap: Central Arkansas Christian Starts Season with Victory at Home

Central Arkansas Christian took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Maumelle Hornets. That's more bragging rights for the Mustangs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-12, 25-14.

Kayla Myers paced Central Arkansas Christian's offense, picking up ten kills. Myers got some help from Mia Adams and her 11 assists. Adams was also solid from the service line: she led the team with nine aces.

Central Arkansas Christian will head out on the road to face off against Bauxite at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Maumelle, they will square off against Maumelle Charter at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
