Football Game Preview: Sebring Blue Streaks vs. Auburndale Bloodhounds

The Sebring Blue Streaks will challenge the Auburndale Bloodhounds at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Sebring is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They blew past Lake Gibson 20-0. That 20 point margin sets a new team best for the Blue Streaks this season.

Meanwhile, Auburndale won against Ridgeview Global Studies Academy last Friday with 18 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Wednesday. The Bloodhounds secured an 18-13 W over Winter Haven. The final result isn't all the surprising considering the Bloodhounds' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 81st, while the Blue Devils are ranked 235th).

Auburndale didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Trinity Hall and Ja'Miya Boon.

The victory made it two in a row for Sebring and bumps their season record up to 4-10. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 points in those games. As for Auburndale, their victory bumped their record up to 10-2.
