Recap: Sonora Wildcats vs. Gregori Jaguars        
        
		
            
 If the Sonora Wildcats were riding high  off their  71-48 takedown of the McNair Eagles on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Sonora was just a bucket shy of victory  on Saturday and fell  68-67 to Gregori. Even though they lost, Sonora's still made a splash on offense and bumped their average scoring up to 51.5 points per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).
 Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Jack Sarina, who  scored 18 points along with five  assists and five  rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jonathan Curran, who  scored 14 points.
 Even though they lost, Sonora  were working as a unit and  finished the game with 17  assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Gregori only posted ten  assists.
 Gregori got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Jayson Powers out in front who  scored 17 points. The  matchup was  Powers' tenth in a row with at least ten points.  Dru Shafer was another key contributor,  scoring 20 points along with five  rebounds.
 Sonora has  not been sharp recently, as they've  lost five of their last six matchups,  which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. As for Gregori,  the  win  got them back to even at 5-5.
 Sonora will be playing in front of their home fans against Lathrop at 7:15  p.m.  on Monday. Lathrop is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 53.3  points per game. Gregori's road trip will continue as they head out to face Bradshaw Christian at 7:00  p.m.  on December 11th. Bradshaw Christian is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 59.6  points per game.
