Belfry had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They blew past the Pike County Central Hawks 11-2. The result was nothing new for the Pirates, who have now won nine matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.

Belfry's victory bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Pike County Central, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Belfry will take on Tolsia at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pike County Central, they will venture away from home to take on Hazard at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
