Volleyball Recap: Crown Point Bulldogs vs. Chesterton Trojans

Crown Point faced Chesterton in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Bulldogs took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trojans. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Trojans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 16-25, 25-23, 25-15.

Leading Chesterton to victory were Cesar Mendoza and Adam LeNeave. Mendoza had 21 digs and four aces, while LeNeave had 20 digs and two aces. Nate Mihut also deserves some recognition as he had his first block of the season.

Crown Point is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4. As for Chesterton, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 7-0.
