Lexington had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top against the Gilbert Indians by a score of 16-9 on Thursday. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Indians, too.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lexington will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against North Augusta at 7:30 p.m. on the 29th. As for Gilbert, they will host Wilson at 7:30 p.m. on the 29th.
