Volleyball Recap: Versailles Wins Going Away Against Anna

Versailles won the last time they faced Anna and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Tigers put the hurt on the Rockets with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Versailles was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-19, 25-21.

Versailles had a senior duo take command as Lauren Prenger had 17 digs and two aces and Ruthie Smith had six digs and three aces. Prenger is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last 14 games she's played dating back to last season.

Versailles' win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Anna, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Versailles has already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against Miami East on the 21st. Anna has also already played their next contest (against Jackson Center), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
