Basketball Recap: East Bladen Takes a Loss

East Bladen lost a heartbreaker to East Columbus when they met back in January of 2024, and they left with a heavy heart again on Tuesday. The East Bladen Eagles took a 48-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the East Columbus Gators. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 45-43 back in December of 2024.

It was another big night for Jaden Troy, who posted 20 points and eight rebounds for East Columbus. KJ Thurman was another key player, putting up eight points.

East Bladen has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season. As for East Columbus, their record now sits at 8-9.

East Bladen has already played their next contest, a 53-52 victory against West Columbus on the 29th. East Columbus has also already played their next game (against South Columbus), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
