Chasen Lovin gave up the fewest walks he has over his last three games on Monday. Despite the loss, he was still locked in as he tossed seven innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.

Even though Lovin couldn't lead Lakeway Christian Academy over Providence Academy, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions have some work to do to even out the 1-7 series between these two since April of 2021, but a win here would be a good start.
