Volleyball Game Preview: Hackett Hornets vs. Mulberry Yellowjackets

Hackett is a perfect 4-0 against Mulberry since September of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Hornets will square off against the Yellowjackets at 4:00 p.m. Hackett will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

On Monday, Hackett made easy work of Guy-Perkins and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Hackett took every set by at least 16 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-9, 25-7.

Meanwhile, Mulberry lost 3-0 to Guy-Perkins on Thursday.

Mulberry's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Hackett, their win bumped their record up to 11-3.

Everything went Hackett's way against Mulberry in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, as Hackett made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hornets since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
