Football Game Preview: Bray-Doyle vs. Waurika

If the MaxPreps national rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Waurika. They will challenge Bray-Doyle on the road on Friday. Bray-Doyle will need to watch out since Waurika have now posted big point totals in their last seven contests.

Waurika might be getting used to good results now that the team has seven wins in a row. They put a hurting on Central to the tune of 52-0. Fans of Waurika have seen this all before: every one of Waurika's games this year has ended as a stomp.

Meanwhile, Bray-Doyle have been struggling to pick up a victory, with their matchup against Ryan last Friday making it six winless games in a row. Bray-Doyle didn't finish too far behind, but the squad still lost 74-78 to Ryan. Yes, you read that final score correctly. Yes, this was football.

Waurika's win lifted them to 7-0 while Bray-Doyle's loss dropped them down to 2-6. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, Bray-Doyle and Waurika will really light up the scoreboard.
