After flying high against Pemberton on Friday, Riverside came back down to earth. The Rams fell just short of the Medford Tech Jaguars by a score of 4-3 on Monday. The Rams' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Riverside's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Medford Tech, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-3.

Riverside and Medford Tech should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps New Jersey Rankings. The Rams will challenge Willingboro at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday with a big rank advantage (166 vs. 370). Meanwhile, Medford Tech (ranked 149th) will meet Burlington City (ranked 325th) at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
