McLane extended their  winning streak to four games  thanks to a huge performance from  Demetrius Simon. The McLane Highlanders blew past the Madera South Stallions, posting  a  72-45 victory thanks in part to  Simon, who  dropped  a double-double on 14  points and 15  boards. The dominant performance also gave  him a new career-high in  assists (seven).
 Another player making a difference was  Airian Chourn, who  posted nine points along with six  rebounds and three  blocks. He is trending in the right direction considering he's  improved his point production for four straight games.
McLane has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won seven of their last eight matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record  this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 58.6 points per game. As for Madera South,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 16-9.
 McLane will square off against Justin Garza at 6:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Justin Garza is on a five-game streak of home wins, McLane a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. As for Madera South, they will challenge Madera at 6:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Madera has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
