Baseball Game Preview: Chester Clippers vs. Academy Park Knights

The Chester Clippers will face off against the Academy Park Knights at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Interboro hit Chester with a five-run second inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Clippers lost 15-5 to the Buccaneers. The Clippers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Neaven Diaz made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with three RBI and one stolen base.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 20 runs the game before, Academy Park was a bit more limited in their match on Wednesday. They came up short against Interboro, falling 12-1.

Academy Park has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for Chester, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8.
