Paoli had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 40.8 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They blew past the Mitchell Bluejackets, posting a 57-6 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Rams, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Paoli's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Justin Thornton, who rushed for 186 yards and two scores on only eight carries. Those 186 rushing yards gave Thornton a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Dane Padgett, who rushed for 138 yards and a pair of TDs on only five carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Paoli was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 444 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 251 rushing yards in five consecutive matchups.

Paoli's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Mitchell, they dropped their record down to 0-8 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.
