Baseball Recap: Northridge's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Northridge waltzed into their game on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Syracuse Titans 10-4. For the Knights, this counts as revenge for the 7-2 win the Titans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2021.

Parker Jeppson was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That home run was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Ryan Small, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two RBI.

Jeppson wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Northridge kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 11 hits in three consecutive matchups.

Northridge's record now sits at 7-3. As for Syracuse, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

Looking ahead, Northridge will take on Green Canyon at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Northridge is facing Green Canyon at the right time seeing as Green Canyon is stuck on an 11-game losing streak. As for Syracuse, they will face off against Mountain Crest at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
