With a playoff win on the line, Salisbury rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Lincolnton Wolves by a score of 67-59. The win was nothing new for the Hornets as they're now sitting on 25 straight.

Lincolnton's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was LJ Smith IV, who dropped a double-double with 25 points and ten boards. Smith IV's evening made it 29 games in a row in which he has scored at least 19 points. Charlie Foster was another key player, dropping a double-double with 13 points and ten rebounds.

Salisbury pushed their record up to 26-3 with the victory, which was their 31st straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 32.7 points. As for Lincolnton, they moved to 24-6 with that loss, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

Coming up, Salisbury will take on Reidsville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Salisbury's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 25 games. Lincolnton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
